This pack of 2 attractive dehumidifying eggs absorb damp, moisture and condensation - and are ideal for use on window sills to reduce moisture levels. Also suitable for use inside cabinets, wardrobes, drawers and book cabinets. Great for small rooms and offices. Each of the two eggs features two colour changing humidity indicators. When the eggs are fully absorbed with moisture, the indicators at the side change colour from blue to pink. When the indicators are pink, they can be regenerated by removing the eggs from the stand and putting the eggs into a microwave oven for 10 minutes. Uses capillary effect of advanced ceramic technology. Each egg absorbs about 60 to 80 cubic cm of moisture. Wetness indicator is situated on either side of the Egg holders. Indicators will change from blue (dry) to pink (wet). Lettering is printed on one side of the eggs only, so they may be turned to display the white side if required. Instructions - To re-activate the egg, remove the egg from its base. Turn the egg upside down and remove the sealing pad (located at the bottom of the egg) carefully to avoid any of the granules from falling out. Place the egg in a microwavable mug and then place in the microwave (600w) on medium heat for 10 minutes. Please note that the scale may vary depending on the power of the microwave. WARNING: Egg will be extremely hot after re-activation. Wait at least 15 -20 minutes before handling and replacing sealing pad. - Egg is made of multi-porous ceramic material and may break if dropped. - Before each re-activation, check the egg for any damage or cracks. If the egg is damaged, discard immediately.
