The RubyDry (Ruby600) dehumidifier is the quietest desiccant dehumidifier on the market, at just 29 decibels on the lowest fan setting it really is whisper quiet, it has a huge 6 litre tank which is much more tahn any other desiccant dehumidifier so will only need to be emptied once a day, it is slim-line and compact and efficient at temperatures as low as 1°C. The RubyDry is an ideal solution for the home, for drying washing, for storage of cars, and to protect boats and caravans from the damaging effects of damp. The unit can be set for continuous dehumidification or the humidistat can be set to control the humidity to 40%, 50% or 60%. If the unit is set for continuous operation the fan can be set to low, medium or high. With a constant stream of warm dried air being put back into the room the RubyDry can act as an additional heat source in winter months. This temperature of the air coming out of the unit is approximately 10-12°C warmer than the air going into it which is great for drying clothes. The water is normally collected into the tank which will only need to be emptied once a day, alternatively you could fit a hose drain so that you will never need to empty. For safety, if the unit is tipped over it will turn itself off automatically. The Ruby Dry also contains an air filter to clean the air. The Dimplex DXDH10N dehumidifer, is perfect for reducing the levels of humidiity in rooms up to 18m sq. The DXDH10N works by drawing moist air in through the back of the unit and passing it over a refrigerative coil which condenses the moisture in the air turning it into water which is collected in a removable tank. Once the moisture has been sepearated, the air pasSes over another coil where it is warmed back up to an ambient room temperature, before being circulated back into the room. The adjustable humidistat enables controllability of moisture extraction depending on the humidity of the room, meaning the unit will cycle on and off to maintain comfortable levels of humidity. The DXDH10 is an ideal solution in rooms where damp is a problem, or in the winter months when condensation can build up on windows. It is also an excellent aid for drying out walls when decorating, plus helping to dry clothes indoors as an alternative to tumble drying, which can be expensive. The DXDH10N has a stylish unobtrusive design featuring white front and back panels with sleek black side fascias. It has a removable water 2.3 litre capacity water tank and auto shut off with indicator light to tell you when the tank is full.
